Listed tank prices are for 50-gallon replacements. Other sizes are quoted separately. Replacement packages include the unit, installation, permit, and old-unit haul-away. Listed water heater replacement prices do not include any code updates. Required code updates are quoted separately for your approval before work begins.
A firm water heater replacement quote requires a clear photo of the entire heater and surrounding space, plus close-ups of the hot and cold water connections and the nameplate/info sticker (model and serial number). Powered Anode — $499 Standalone / $299 with Replacement
Protect your new tank without replacing a used-up anode. Install a powered titanium anode for $499 as a standalone service, or $299 when we replace your water heater.
- Save on future anode replacements: the titanium rod is not consumed like a conventional sacrificial anode, eliminating routine replacement of a depleted rod and the associated parts and labor costs.
- Less anode maintenance: no sacrificial rod to pull out periodically to check how much metal remains.
- Ongoing corrosion protection: uses a small electrical current to help protect the inside of your tank while powered and operating properly.
- Helps eliminate rotten-egg hot-water odor: addresses odor caused by reactions inside the water heater.
Requires continuous electrical power. Routine water heater maintenance, including flushing as recommended by the manufacturer, still applies. Savings depend on your water conditions and normal anode replacement needs.
Standard powered-anode installation requires a compatible tank, accessible anode, and an existing suitable outlet. Any new outlet or other electrical work must be arranged separately with a licensed electrician. Plumbing code updates, if needed, are quoted for approval before work begins.
